In February 2017, IMEP acquired a natural gas gathering assets from 1776 Energy in Karnes County and Gonzales County.
In June 2017, IMEP formed a new subsidiary to design, build and operate a crude and natural gas midstream system in the "core of the core" of the Eagle Ford play ("Ironwood Eagle Ford Midstream Project" or "IEFM")
In November 2017, IMEP formed a new subsidiary to design, build and operate a second crude and natural gas midstream system in the "core of the core" of the Eagle Ford play ("Ironwood South Texas Midstream Project" or "ISTM")
